BDS Activists & QUB Palestine Assembly Stage Mock Funeral "Death of Democracy" & The Rally Outside Erskin House; PSNI Attempt to Remove Protestors...

The US and Israel continue to unveil the true nature of the beast; the empire has given the green light, & the systematic genocidal war machine has been let off its leash like a rabid dog.

So, the US again gave the green light to the Zionist entity to resume the systematic airstrike campaign and full-scale invasions, again on the Gaza Strip. Before touching on the annexation process, the Israelis are currently receiving the green light from the US.

From the onset of the “ceasefire,” Israel violated the agreements, a common theme.

As some point out, it’s in Israel’s nature to violate these agreements. With Ben Gvir taking his place in government again and the open slaughter and calls for slaughter being made almost daily, it’s clear that the region may not be set for any peace; the US beats the drums of war, and Israel continues its expansion.

Not only in Syria but in Lebanon and Palestine, with eyes on Iran.

From Ireland to Palestine, the discontent spreads; the people look to alternatives, and a real change, not of the theatrical kind but real change… As a comrade said, “There is a lot of work to be done,” and it’s true; it’s a long road for us all, especially the Palestinian people, the cause of the Palestinians shines bright as a beacon of hope, a beacon to the world, for people to speak out to say no more to the injustice, no more to the exploitation, occupation, and the consistent gaslighting of the mainstream media.

The politicos in power who believe they know what's right for a country deny the ordinary people they deceive and manipulate; they manufacture consent for war while at the same time rallying consent for cuts. They rally behind the banner of "international law" all while disavowing it in the same breath. The system’s failing, can’t you see?

Irish Revolutionary Padraig Pearse

And because I am of the people, I understand the people.

I am sorrowful with their sorrow; I am hungry with their desire:
My heart has been heavy with the grief of mothers,
My eyes have been wet with the tears of children,
I have yearned with old, wistful men,
And laughed or cursed with young men;

Their shame is my shame, and I have reddened for it,
Reddened for that they have served, they who should be free,
Reddened for that they have gone in want, while others have been full,
Reddened for that they have walked in fear of lawyers and of their jailors.

With their writs of summons and their handcuffs,
Men are mean and cruel!

I could have borne stripes on my body rather than this shame of my people.
And now I speak, being full of vision;

I speak to my people, and I speak in my people’s name to the masters of my people.

I say to my people that they are holy, that they are august, despite their chains,

That they are greater than those that hold them and stronger and purer,
That they have but need of courage and to call on the name of their God,
God, the unforgetting, the dear God that loves the people
For whom He died naked, suffering shame.

And I say to my people’s masters: Beware,
Beware of the thing that is coming; beware of the risen people.

Who shall take what ye would not give?

Did you think to conquer the people?

Or that law is stronger than life and than men’s desire to be free?

We will try it out with you, ye that have harried and held,
Ye that have bullied and bribed, tyrants, hypocrites, liars!

Patrick Pearse

“War is Peace. Ignorance is strength, Freedom is slavery.”

It must be noted that these flagrant violations of the agreements were sparsely reported in the mainstream media when they were; it was again either inadequate at best or, at worst, whitewashing of Israeli crimes against civilians—enacting a halt on ALL aid (not that much was getting through prior), again calling for the cutting of electricity, and murdering well over 100 people throughout.

Including actively obfuscating the truth through deception and outright lies. Unable to sanitize the images we see, they struggle to preserve the narrative; unable to defeat the Palestinians, they seek to dehumanize and chip away at them.

Unable to stop the people, they attempt to criminalize them, and speaking up and out is seen as dangerous as the genocide they help to commit and enact. Toppsy Terby world Using everything in their arsenal to destroy the fabric of the Palestinian people.

The Israeli minister for military affairs said that the Israelis were going to "seize more territory in Gaza," and that "the more territory it will lose, which will be annexed by Israel."

The will of the people to resist and persist overwhelms the need to expand and rule; Gaza will once again become “a graveyard of the invader” and will have marked the clear, exact decline of the empire well and truly, but it’s an empire nonetheless.

They remain and will continue to do as they please if they feel they can, especially when the world’s nations sit silent or offer words of comfort or just vague gestures of solidarity. The rise and decline of the status quo: The world is in a historic moment; we will witness much to come and more of the same, but change is possible.

Activists Belfast Mock Funeral for “democracy”

One of the groups that continue their campaigns in solidarity with Palestine is BDS Belfast. The group has maintained daily actions across different locations in Belfast, highlighting businesses that continue in the sale of Israeli blood products and those that fund the occupation and violence.

On Monday, the group took part in a mock funeral for “the death of democracy,” carrying a coffin with “the death of the UN” written on the side through the Holylands in Belfast.

You can keep updated with the group’s socials at the bottom of the post, with other links to news on upcoming events in Belfast.
